Social Clairvoyance - Data mining the social web

06 June 2012 17:40 - 18:40

In Victorian times it was common for people to entertain their guests with "parlour tricks", seeming to read their minds and thus knowing things they couldn't possibly know about them. Data mining the social web gives us the modern day equivalent, the ability to know more than seems possible about our current and future customers. This session will lead you through the steps required to identify key influencers and customers in your network, to mine data about them from Twitter, Facebook and other networks and, finally, to use that information to engage with them in a way that is beneficial to them and to you.
