Guillermo Rauch

Guillermo has spoken in several occasions about Node.JS throughout the world, all the way from Oklahoma, USA to Tokyo, Japan. He's the author of many popular Node libraries and frameworks, like mongoose, websocket.io, engine.io, browserbuild and others. He actively contributes to projects like Express, Connect and Jade.

The company he co-founded, LearnBoost, is one of the first entire web applications developed in Node.JS. Most of his experience comes from the usage and development of libraries that have been thoroughly tested in production environments.

Before he discovered Node.JS and the pleasure of server-side JavaScript, he created and participated in numerous open source projects like Wordpress and MooTools, of which he used to be a core developer.
